​   Calling all journalists, storytellers, audio fiends & adrenaline junkies!  Registration is officially open for KCRW’s 2nd Annual 24-Hour Radio Race! On Saturday, August 2, at 10 a.m. PT, all contestants will receive an email revealing a theme. They will have only 24 hours to write, record, and edit a non-fiction radio story based on that theme. Register by noon PT on Friday, Aug. 1. This whirlwind day of high-stakes radio making, hosted by the Independent Producer Project, is open to producers of any experience level. Winners will receive up the $1000, and their stories will air on KCRW’s popular program, UnFictional.    ​
