I'm helping out with the production of a Yale undergrad thesis film that will be shot in Baltimore this month. We are hoping to connect with an audio recordist who might be willing to get involved for any part of the shoot. As this is a student film, there is a limited budget and therefore no pay, which is why we wanted to see if someone at the student level would be interested in the project for the opportunity to gain some experience and add to their portfolio.
It's not essential that they make it to every shoot for the entire time (we'll take what we can get!), but it would be great if they would be able to come out for as much as they can.
As it stands now, shooting will take place entirely in Baltimore City on the following days/times:
Sat, 3/15: 8am-8pm
Sun, 3/16: 8am-8pm
Mon, 3/17: 8am-8pm
Tue, 3/18: 8am-5pm
The film will be shot on a Sony NEX-FS700 camera. The audio kit we will provide includes the following equipment:
1. Audio-Technica (AT 4073) shotgun mic
2. Lectrosonics UM100 wireless lavalier mic kit (x2)
3. MixPre D
4. Marantz (PMD660) solid-state audio recorder
5. Gitzo (GB1340) boom pole w/ pistol grip
6. XLR leads, headphones, batteries, etc.
If anyone is interested and would like more info about the film, they can contact me at rbed...@gmail.com.
Thanks very much!
