My name is Brooke Castrillon and I’m reaching out to see if you have any students interested in gaining practical audio and video experience beyond the classroom. We regularly work in a live studio environment and are looking to offer hands-on, real-world audio and video engineering experience to students currently enrolled in an audio/video engineering or media production program.

This is a volunteer-based position and includes training while working with live sound, setup and teardown, mixing, troubleshooting, and real-time problem solving in a professional setting. We also have video production training opportunities available for television broadcast.

This opportunity would be a good fit for students who:

-Want live audio experience to complement studio learning

-Are looking to build a portfolio and résumé with real environments

-Value learning under real pressure and real expectations

There is no cost or obligation on your end; we’re simply looking to see if this is something your program or any of your students would be interested in. If so, we’d be happy to share more details, expectations, and scheduling information.

Thank you for your time and for investing in the next generation of media professionals. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
