AARP is the nation’s largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering people 50 and older to choose how they live as they age. With a nationwide presence and nearly 38 million members, AARP strengthens communities and advocates for what matters most to families: health security, financial stability and personal fulfillment. AARP also produces the nation’s largest circulation publications: AARP The Magazine and AARP Bulletin.

Are you a student seeking to put into practice your solid multimedia, business, and people skills? Do you have a passion for thinking and acting in an agile manner and implementing ideas that impact the 50+ community? Then AARP’s Studios team is looking for you! The Studios mission is to create rich and compelling videos that educate, entertain and inspire. They include viral videos, short documentaries, virtual reality, and long-form television specials. AARP Studios distributes its content across multiple platforms, including film, television, and digital and social media channels.

As a Multimedia intern, you will apply creative and strategic thinking to assist with the creation and archival of multimedia content. You could be working with Video Editors, Producers, Graphic Artists, or Studios Executives on any given day, focusing on solutions to advance the AARP mission. This internship has an anticipated start date of Summer 2022 and will go through the end of the year.
