Shelly Strong is the Head of Physical Production for Amblin Partners, a content creation company led by Steven Spielberg, which develops and produces films using the Amblin Entertainment,
 DreamWorks Pictures and Participant Media banners. She has been with DreamWorks for nine years, starting as a VP and working her way up as one of the few women among the senior positions at the major studios. Her credits include “The Help,” “Lincoln” and “The
 Girl on the Train.” Strong is also a proud alum of TU! 
 
* The role of head of physical production is to ensure that each project is made on budget and on schedule. They must also guarantee that there are enough resources to achieve the filmmakers’
 vision. Once the picture is officially “greenlit”, they help find/select crew, locations and vendors; troubleshoot throughout shooting; then oversee post until the picture is delivered for distribution.*
