IEES + EMF Internship Position

NOTE: THIS POSITION IS FOR WORK STUDY ONLY & AVAILABLE FOR THE 2025-2026 YEAR
Undergraduate student employees will aid in the video recording, producing, and editing of educational content for the Office of Inclusion & Institutional Equity. This includes social media content creation, live event recording, and video podcasts. Students will assist in creating and editing DEI content for the OIIE Social Media platforms and OIIE-TU Website.
The Office of Inclusion & Institutional Equity recognizes that the student employee is first and foremost a student, so work assignments and hours of duty will accommodate the student’s academic obligations. Hours for this position are flexible and may include evenings for program and event support.
Academic Requirement:
· Full EMF Majors with at least 60 credits completed (Junior status)
· EMF 221 and EMF 222 prior to any film placement
· Cumulative GPA requirement: 2.75 overall, 3.00 in the major. Waivers are considered by the department
· Completed or currently enrolled in Editing (EMF 275) and Audio Editing (EMF 265)
Specific Background & Knowledge Required:
· Has experience in using Cameras/Camcorders and all relevant accessories to produce high quality video footage
· Experience in Video editing on software like Adobe Premiere Pro
· Ability to work independently.
· Ability to multitask, adapt well to change, and work well in a fast-paced environment and with people from diverse backgrounds.
· Strong commitment to diversity and social justice with a general knowledge of global, social, cultural, and/or political issues and perspectives.
General Student Worker Responsibility:
· Will assist in the creating, editing, and posting of recorded OIIE Events on the YouTube & Instagram platforms
· Will assist in coordinating with other OIIE partners, as well as campus partners, to determine which events will be recorded and uploaded
· Will meet with supervisor once a week

This includes social media content creation, attending live events, and other OIIE related programs. Students will assist in creating and editing DEI content for the OIIE Social Media platforms and OIIE-TU Website.

· AT LEAST one Photography course completed
