On Saturday May 5th, a number of prominent Torontonians will be leading walks around neighbourhoods to celebrate the life and work of the late Jane Jacobs (the date of her birth is May 4th which has been officially declared Jane Jacobs Day). Spacing magazine is one of the partners in promoting the first ever "Jane's Walk".
A lot of you have taken photos that are the end result of her philosophies -- and you may never have known it. The editors of Spacing strongly encourage you to tag along for a walk in your neighbourhood to see examples of her teachings.
The other organizers have also asked me to contact Toronto's photobloggers to see if any of you would be willing to take photos on any of the proposed walks. If so, please contact Yvonne Bambrick at
yvo...@socialinnovation.ca or
416.979.3939.

Feel free to contact me directly if you have any other questions.
