Seeking Input from THRA: Decriminalization Platform

Dear Members of THRA,

The Canadian Drug Policy Coalition has been running a national decriminalization strategy group with many civil society organizations, including the Centre on Drug Policy Evaluation, for some months. We have developed the attached platform document that will help guide our advocacy moving forward. It outlines some of the case for decriminalization as well as specific issues we want to ensure are addressed well (e.g., thresholds, no administrative penalties, etc.). Our next task is to reach out to other organizations in Canada to get feedback on this platform.

I am reaching out to share the attached platform on decriminalization with the THRA community. If time permits, I welcome any feedback at our meeting on Friday. You may also send feedback afterwards, ideally before February 22, either by making any comments/track changes in the attached document and sending back, or by using this Google form.
