Has this come across anybody else's radar this month?

That said, I may try hacking at the Java api. Not sure what I'd want
it to do because no one I know uses Wave. Add me if you'd like

We've definitely seen Wave move to the back burner. I don't think
Google was expecting the social media craze to pick up as fast as it
did. Both Google and Apple have waiting quite a long time before
announcing any plans. It looks as though they were forced to release a
piece of the puzzle; Buzz. It will be interesting to see what the
Google code heads have dreamed up for us this year at I/O. My
predictions? Platform integration. I think Buzz, Wave and Apps will
slowly start to see integration amongst the Android OS and Chrome OS.
I could be wrong but from my standpoint it only makes sense. Google
keeps thinking 5 years down the road.
Was that an official prediction? :-S...
Email updates... yeah good call. While the rest of the world sticks to
the gmail platform we need something to remind us that Wave still
exists.
