New Group Editable Calendars

Hi All,

Just read this post on the official google blog about the new group
editable calendar (and documents, and spreadsheets) feature they've
just rolled out for google groups:

Why don't we set up a calendar for this group to which group members
can post events which would be interesting to other group members? I
think it makes some sense to have this separate from the official
toronto-gtug calendar, which perhaps should only list the events
organized by the gtug. This group editable one would be reserved for
external events in the toronto area which are relevant to the gtug but
not affiliated with it.

What do people think?

Mike!

Thanks for the heads up. I've set up a calendar using our toronto-
gtug.org google apps account. Everybody with-in the toronto-gtug
google group has editing permissions. Feel free to add any events you
like. I've already added Microsoft's Tech Days in Toronto ;-)

Let me know if you want to make any other changes or have any
recommendations!

We also had our first planning meeting on Tuesday night! It was a huge
success. We hope to have our first meet and greet meeting sometime at
the beginning or end of October!
