When we introduced 'hover to select' in version 2.5, it had an effect
on selecting association lines. If the line is in front of a topic,
the topic is likely to be selected and then the line you were trying
to select disappears.

There are three ways to get round this:
1. Increase the association line width to two or three pixels as
follows:
Tools menu > Options > Appearance > Association line width > select 2
or 3 from the spinner

2. In the swinging Quick Options panel on the right, select the radio
button to show all of a selected topic's association lines.

3. When selecting an association line, select the child topic of the
association in question and approach the association line throught the
tip of the cone.

We found that if you were still using the Halo Menu (intended mainly
for beginners) it was not possible to select association lines.
Version 2.6 fixed that problem.

Why might you want to select association lines? Two reasons:
1. Hover over an association line and when it turns yellow, drag it
away, and you'll break the association without deleting either of the
topics.

2. Hover over an association line and when it turns yellow, click and
hold - the association Details Panel appears and you can edit the
linking phrase -- useful if you want to describe how two topics are
related or if you are making a 3D concept map.
