*New Fiction In Stock*
Much anticipated and now here - both Everything You Ever Wanted by
Rosalind Wyllie and Being Normal by Stephen Shieber are in stock and
available from our online shop - with free UK p&p - a good month ahead
of their 11 August release date.
Evocatively set in the summer of 1991, Everything You Ever Wanted is a
smart and gritty tale of two young women's colourful adventures in a
London sex industry where money talks, and boundaries are there to be
broken. 'Sharp, witty and unnervingly streetwise, Wyllie is a name
you're going to hear more of' - Carol Clewlow

Being Normal is a confident, poignant collection of short stories
filtered with debauchery, melancholy and black humour. 'There is an
incredible freshness and optimism about Shieber's stories that is very
rare in writing today. He's like a wonderful new biscuit you've never
tried before. Open it up, have a bite, then take the packet home and
devour it.' - Laura Hird

*Sin Cities Released*
Sin Cities, the naughty memoir by TV's Ashley Hames, is released on
Monday, 7 July. There will be a launch in London on Friday 11 July,
followed by events in Newcastle, York and Leeds. See the events diary
below for further details. Ashley is a television presenter best
known as the face of Bravo TV's highest-rated television show, Sin
Cities, and perhaps less well known as L!VE TV's infamous News Bunny.
With a weakness for women, good times and binge drinking, he has
become something of a cult hero.
'Ashley Hames has approached literature with the same courage and
candour which he brought to his investigations of porn stars, perverts
and prostitutes. The result is a picaresque tale brimming with
hilarious encounters and moments of deep moral shame, all recounted
with the nothing to lose honesty of a man confessing his sins to a
priest on his death bed.' - Grub Smith
It's a lovely paperback with loads of colour photos, and is just £7.99
from all good bookshops.

*Paralympian Released*
Stephen Miller's autobiography Paralympian hits the shelves on 28
July. It will be launched at Newcastle United's St James' Park on 24
July - see the events diary below. Stephen, who has Cerebral Palsy,
has won three Paralympic gold medals, plus dozens of other
international accolades in the club and discus events. Still only 28
years old, he will endeavour to win more honours at Beijing 2008. A
writer and poet, Stephen's inspirational autobiography tells of his
struggles and triumphs, and is told with refreshing honesty and
infectious humour. The foreword is written by Stephen's friend Kevin
Keegan.
'I know how hard it is to compete at the highest level. It takes
dedication, courage and self-belief, and Stephen has those qualities
in abundance. His story is truly unique and inspiring.' - Kevin Keegan
It's a paperback original with 16 pages of colour photos, and is
available for only £9.99 from all good bookshops.
