Good morning, Tonto subscribers!

It has been quite a busy time at Tonto Books recently, so this
newsletter is a bit of a round up of what's been going on.

London Book Fair

At the bookfair I had several rights meetings for backlist titles as
well as meetings regarding sales and distribution.
I'm pleased to say that Tonto is now signed with Amalgamated Book
Services who will be handling sales of books an Vine House who will be
my distribution agent.

Signings

Tonto now has some brilliant titles lined up for publication this year
and into next:

Dirty Leeds, a novel by Robert Endeacott will be released on 24
September.
Slimmer Charlie, the biography of Charlie Walduck will be released on
1 October.
The Road To Hell, the new novel by Sheila Quigley will be released on
5 November.

2010:
Shakespeare and Love, true crime caper, will be released on 26 April
2010.
Tony Hart and Me, biography of artist Tony Hart, will be released in
Autumn 2010.

Events
Nik Jones will be at the Middlesbrough Literary Festival on 10 June.
Ashley Hames will be at Newcastle Library on 18 June.

Website
The revamped website will be going live at some point this weekend.
All forthcoming titles will be available to pre-order and orders will
be fulfilled as soon as they arrive from the printers. Look out for
special offers on the site too.
There will also be a new-look blog.

Future Newsletters
There will be a new signup to receive newsletters. I'll post out again
as a reminder of this once it is live. You will have to sign up as I
cannot sign existing newsletter subscribers to it.
