As summer begins, it's time for us to think about Christmas and
announce our winter titles - welcome to the weird and wonderful world

We're pleased to announce the first of our forthcoming non-fiction
titles, due for release later this year. Jonny Kennedy is the
remarkable story of the star of the Emmy award-winning documentary The
Boy Whose Skin Fell Off, as told to Jonny's close friend Roger
Stutter, and featuring a foreword written by Nell McAndrew. Read more

The Rocketbelt Caper is Tonto's own Paul Brown's acclaimed true tale
of three friends who fall out over the building of a James Bond-style
flying rocketbelt, with murderous consequences. The book, which has
already been snapped up by a Hollywood movie studio, will be released

We'll be announcing details of a third non-fiction title, which will
also be released in the run-up to Christmas 2007, very soon. Details
remain under wraps, but let's just say it involves the return of a

*Last chance for writing course*
Are you a writer looking to get your manuscript published? Then our
unique creative writing course is aimed squarely at you. Specifically
designed for novelists and short story writers looking to make that
difficult leap into publication, the 5-day Monday to Friday course
will run from 23 to 27 July at our new venue in Newcastle upon Tyne.
At the time of writing there are just TWO places left, and this will
be the LAST course of this type we will be running this year. Places

Pre-orders of new novelist winner Johnny Lonely by Pete Tanton are now
shipping, and should be arriving on doormats very soon. The book will
