インドで生活の仕方、学校について、持続可能な社会を作る生き方について考える旅でした。
かつてハーバード大学を卒業し、国際機関でキャリアを積んだマニッシュ・ジェイン（Manish Jain）。
世界の第一線で活躍する中で、現代社会の教育や経済のあり方に限界を感じ、自らの生き方を大きく転換しました。
それ以来30年近くインドを拠点に、そして世界で、教育の「脱学校化」、ギフトエコノミー、ローカリゼーション、非暴力を軸としたユニークで革新的な実践を続けています。
今回の旅は彼の拠点としている、ウダイプールのコミュニティで滞在させていただき、彼の活動を学んできました。
