Because Willamette Falls Locks are now closed and our other options are not materializing, and because it's supposed to be sunny on Monday, we decided to do a . . . . 

HIKE AT MCIVER STATE PARK

MEET AT SALYARD'S HOUSE AT 12:15,  LEAVE FOR MCIVER AT 12:30

HIKE IN FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES, PICNIC, THEN HIKE OUT, BACK TO SALYARD'S BY 3:30ish

BRING

   PICNIC FOOD FOR YOUR FAMILY

   WATER

   BINOCULARS ?

P.S.  I was hoping to do our field trips on the same afternoon every week.  Seems that Mondays work best for those doing the Shakespeare play, but not as well for others.  Also, some things (McLoughlin House, some museums) are only open Wed. - Fri.  So, I'll just schedule things as best I can and hope it works into your schedules whenever possible.  I am very open to suggestions on times and places to go.

We will try to make it - we are down to I car and 3 different directions. We will see haow the day goes. Here's hoping. Remember lemon juice arichokes and papaya enzyme. I also think the other super food  - turmuric in capsules would go a long way to sorting out her gall bladder. Look it up.

Thanks for all your tips, Jenny.  She's been doing the lemon juice today and likes it.  We can drive you to the hike tomorrow.  How many of you would be going?  Only 3 of us are going, and I think we can drive the Suburban if we need to.
