Hello friends!
I am sending this group message for a couple of reasons - first, I wanted to reply to all of you and thank you for your work to stop this dolphinarium from being built. I also wanted to ensure that you were in contact with each other, as I believe it will help a great deal if you can join forces and create a larger impact. I also wanted to see if anyone, or perhaps all of you, can collaborate and host an Empty the Tanks event at this proposed location this year? If so, please let me know. I have attached some information on getting your event started - let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you don't mind me combining your efforts into this one email. Please let me know if you are not local to Serbia - I believe you all were. I also wanted to let you know that I am hoping to send a letter from Dolphin Project to the Serbian government by the end of this week. If you have any other thoughts and ideas, please let me know. Has the government said where the dolphins will come from? Will they be purchased from another captive facility? Or will they be purchased from a place like Taiji, where dolphins are captured in the wild and sold?
Any other information you can share will be helpful. Also, does anyone have any photos of the location that could be used in a blog? Please let me know who to credit for any photos.
