is there a way to put multiple forms in one tiddler? for example if a
book is a collection of short stories and I would like to keep track
of story title and writer for each short story in the book. using the
DataPlugin and FormPlugin could i create a single form that has a
"title" and "writer" field. then place that form in one tiddler
multiple times.

Book 1
Title: test1
Writer: test1

Title: test2
Writer: test2

Book 2
Title: test1
Writer: test1

Title: test2
Writer: test2

Title: test3
Writer: test3

Yes you can.
Take a look at http://members.bbnet.com.au/~kwright/TiddlyLinks.html
and save the overtime link. It uses a form as a basis to create
standard layout tiddlers.
Then it displays the tiddlers in a table.

This sounds like what i want but when i saved it and looked at the
file nothing showed up...blank. when i looked at the source it looked
like the Crypto Plugin was installed. could this keep me from seeing
it?

Sorry about that. It appears to be working after I re-uploaded.
Let me know if there are still problems.

I wanted something like that and did a dirty modification of Udo's
FormTiddlerPlugin
http://xdexavier.googlepages.com/FormSample.html
It
-adds a prefix to be used when storing <data>
-disables the autosave of the tiddler when changing focus

Unfortunately
a) although Udo showed interest in the changes he was very busy at
that time to update the plugin
b) although I'd ike to cleanup the things I hacked in a hurry, I've
been also very busy (and will be in the short term).
