snapshotSave (SnapshotPlugin) doesn't support special characters...

Request:
I would really like to be able to save html-snapshots which support
the characters of my native language (da): characters.: æ ø å - also
if I use apostrophes like this danish word: redigér(=edit) - it
returns unreadable text..
SnapshotPlugin works very well when I just use the printfunction -
it's the snapshotfunction which I need help for..

Can I do something myself to make this plugin usefull for Danish/
german/sweedish/etc.. users?
