General Sykes To Lead Against Han

STATE COLLEGE, Nov 19 -- Through a press release sent to all major
media outlets, the ITF announced the creation of the Cross-thread
Response Unit to Stop the Han, or CRUSH, to be led by General Edward
Sykes, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of the Empire of New York and
Commander of the Empire of New York Air Force.
Imperial French Minister Jean DeFaucon, one of the named authors of
the press release, told reporters that CRUSH would co-ordinate various
allied forces, including "certain non-human assets," in a war against
the Union of Han Airmen.
There is no comment from the office of General Sykes as of yet. One of
the General's aides, who spoke under condition of anonymity,
commented: "Don't expect an official response until the General has
had an opportunity to refill his flask with something really strong."
The Union of Han Airmen is an aerial horde which sprawls across Asia.
The Han seek to assimilate all threads, converting all humans to their
way of thinking and stabilizing the local brane by imposing the
imposing the same high-sigma vision of reality in all places
worldwide.
General Sykes is a famous member of JET Team A. Most notably, General
Sykes is one of the only people with experience coordinating
large-scale multi-thread forces against an unusual existential threat.
