New to the group, but not to Thelema... Crowley and Tantra...???

I am sure that this group will grow now that Google launched google
talk.

I would love to add fellow thelemites as friends and contacts.

I am a Tantric Priestess in Seattle, and have recently been researching
much of Crowley's work extensively. I am aware of his knowledge of
Tantra and have recently realized that it seems the majority of his
writings are encoded Tantra in a Western framework. Sometimes looking
at his side notes and commentary I wonder just how much of this was
intentional and how much was on accident. If it was intentional and
not purely channeled I don't know why his commentary on his earlier
writings didn't portray this, as he in his more cryptic speaking, spoke
a great deal of actual Tantric ritual, energy flow dynamics, and
kundalini, however in reading his commentary on those writings none of
the specifics of the above are mentioned. It is very clear as an adept
Tantrika, what he is speaking of in great detail.

Ok... so maybe most Tantrikas wouldn't get this as I have taken an
extremely scholarly, and esoteric approach to Tantra, rather than
adopting the watered down- fed to the masses- neo Tantra, and I don't
know how much of my inner knowing is due to channeled, or past life
knowing on top of my relentless study and recent exploration of ancient
Tantric ritual with an amazing temple of students willing to surrender
a great deal. I would really love to discuss, in depth, many of these
things with someone of similar interest and knowledge.

I'm not sure Crowley intended (always a charged word, for a Thelemite)
to encode Tantra in a western framework. In some ways, he _was_ a
western framework (for Yoga and the I Ching, for instance). I know few
specifics of Tantra, but what he says on Yoga is just about the
clearest presentation of some difficult concepts I've ever read.

What would you say are some important differences between your
'extremely scholarly and esoteric' approach to Tantra, and 'watered
down fed to the masses neo Tantra'?
