Hello WMF bloggers, we've added a new section to the site called "Breaking News for Writers." You can view it here: http://wmfreelancewritersconnection.com/breaking-news-for-writers/
From this point on, if you cover news on the site that is related to writing, please use this category (Breaking News for Writers) so that it'll appear on the news page. Also continue to use the "freelance writing" category so that your post will appear in the featured slider on the front page.
Additionally, the news can be a great place to gain inspiration for posts--so if you see a story that you have an opinion on, please feel free to post about it, and to include a link back to the original article (or several sources, if you like.)
