Hey Academy. 

I got an email from some Andrew guy asking for help with a new Hat League. Each captain we enter raises funds for next year, so any and all volunteers would be appreciated.

Hi Touring Team Captains,

You may have already heard, but WODS has partnered with CARL (Adult not for profit running out of RIM Park) to offer a hat league this winter.

Format is similar to our Tuesday night hat league, for Fall indoor - hat league with periodic clinics/practices.  The league is open to all skill levels, including non-WODS members.

League Details: http://wods.ca/node/1585.  Exact format (ie. game length) will depend on total number of registrants.

We are looking for a number of touring players to step up as captains for this league.  As with Fall Hat league, there is no cost to the captain.  In addition, captaining a team will count towards the touring support program in the amount of $100 per team.

Time: Wednesday nights, between 9pm and midnight (*Note 11pm - 12 am games will only happen if the league starts to fill up - which is unlikely at this point).

This is a great opportunity for WODS, as we have never been able to offer indoor times during the week.  If successful, this partnership with CARL can directly benefit WODS, including our touring teams.

We are looking for between 6 and 10 captains, depending on the number of registrations.  As of now, most of our touring teams have not qualified for full funding for last summer, so this is a great opportunity to help offset some of those touring costs.
