Hey guys,

I put together a Google Doc for people who want to track their workouts.  It is basically a calendar that lets you put into it what you did in the gym on any given day. It also would let us see what other people were doing as well as maybe fuel some friendly off season competition.  If you are interested email me back and I can send you the link and instructions for the Doc.

And if you want a to really get into shape this off-season, sign up for GUPA's open league. We're starting weekly training sessions in between games this Sunday.

Quick Q: What's the convention for writing out sets, reps and weight. Like 4 sets of 3 reps at 125 would be 4x3@125lb or 3x4@125lb?

Hey guys,

I'm doing regular lunch time training on Mo hill in guelph and at the UofG field house if any of you are interested in joining let me know.  It's a mix of strength, conditioning and throwing skills.  I'm planning to do at least 2-3 sessions a week over the winter.  Just a heads up.

Whoever is working out should post on the excel sheet ( that isnt already). Its awesome how many guys are posting .  I am very rarely this motivated to work out ( super super motivated)

To all those who aren't working out, get in the gym!  Heres why:

1)Injuries go down
2) your faster and can jump higher
3) you last longer into tournaments
4) you recover faster from tournaments and practices
5) Come this spring and during the season you will be able to get the most out of practice and focus your attention on your skills with much less worry/attention towards fitness.

If you guys want an easy way to get more entries, we'll be running our first off-season training session tonight at Open League.

Hey Guys,

Some people have been asking why I only made the link available to those who have directly sent me an email.  I did this because if you can't be bothered to email me for the link then you won't be bothered to fill out the spreadsheet.  Just so everyone knows.

Also, probably next week, I will be revising an email list so that only the people who are on the spreadsheet will be in the email chain.  That way we can constructively talk about things on the spreadsheet we want to add or change, and maybe get some conversation going about the workouts people are doing.

The maxes sheet has been activated and the people who have been posting have been killing it.  If you haven't joined up, do it.  Keep it up.
