Polish designer Stanis?aw P?oski’s
new design will take you for a ride. He recently unveiled a bent plywood bike,
the Bonobo, at
Berlin’s 2011 International Design Festival. He’s putting a new spin on things
with an angular frame composed of manipulated composite wood. The prototype’s
strong, lightweight frame allows for a smooth, comfortable ride. P?oski
furnished the bike with a single gear drivetrain and dependable set of hydraulic
disc brakes for rough terrain. And check out the lime green chain, pedals and
handlebar grips. It gives ‘going green’ a whole new definition. That’s how he
rolls.
