Lube for Sounding

I am relatively new to sounding and want advise on lubrication that is
ideal, safe, and doesn't sting. Have tried Wet, botht the water based
and oil based. The oil based is more comfortable. Please recommend
some to me and why you like them.

I use either neosporin or olive oil for lube inside, neither dries out
and they don't sting. Have for years and never had an infection. But
you do have to keep your toys clean too.

Hypno, I wouldn't want to stick something down my dick that won't wash
out completely with my first apres sounding/cath-play piss. Oil based
lubes, liquid or ointment, vegetable or mineral, especially if used in
quantity, leaves a residue regardless. The water based lubes I
prefer, because the don't sting and don't dry out as fast as all the
others I've tried, are: Surgilube (the medical pro choice and is
sterile) and ID Glide, a liquid used for JO. I hate generic store
brand presonal lubricants and KY gel -- both are okay for other kinds
of insertion play. The only times I use an oil based lube (an
antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin) are for inserting a penis plug
I plan to wear it for an extended period of time, or when I use a.
metal reamer (such as a Hagar) to stretch my piss hole. In both
instances, I use only enough to grease the surface of the intruments
and a tiny amount at the opening. The reason I use an ointment is
because water based lubes eventually dry out. After having a plug
glued inside my meat head a couple of time (painful to get out) I
switched to the ointment. It also gives me the added protection of
being antibiotic. (Or, is that a hopeful false sense of secuity?)

Personally, I couldn't recommend olive oil or any type of cooking oil
as an acceptable substitute. Lord only knows what kind of conditions
they were processed in or the types of pathegens they might harbor.
Stick to stuff you can be reasonably sure is sterile or inert.
Haven't tried a silicone lube; it might be acceptable. Perhaps one of
these other guys have a personal testimony about using it. You can
order Surgilube from one of many of the medical supply houses that
advertise on the web; it comes in several sizes of tubes and in
individual packets. ID Glide, the homo's best bedside friend, can be
purchased from almost any of the adult toy shop web sites. It comes
in both squeeze and pump bottles. I like the larger size pump bottle

many pros suggest that only sterile, water based lubes should be
used...other guys who have done it for a while just use a little
spit...have to suggest that only STERILE lube should be used....when
in doubt, throw it out!!! Cleanliness cannot be stressed
enough....sterile K-Y jelly is my choice...oil based lubes are not
advised, even if they are more comfortable for new sounders...urine
can't pass the oil-based goo out as easily as the water-based....if
comfort is what you're after, try to get some sterile Lidocaine jelly
(Rx only)...that stuff may be hard to get, but it is the best in the
world and worth every effort to obtain...

They state the best lube is just simple ol precum. The more you
produce, the slicker things get. I find once the rods inserted, I
milk like you would not believe, oozin precum like crazy.

The hassle is when the rods taken out n the precums dried n tryin to
reinsert. Tad more uncomfortable n thats when I use a little water
based lube. Like I said though, the first insertion n Im moan n butt
is grindin like a virgin on testosterone.
