Hi everyone,

I’ll admit that some of my emails are more important than others. This is definitely on the most important side. If you’re a club officer, hopefully you received this email last Thursday (or today if your club is still expired from 2012).* Even if you received the email, consider this your last reminder to take care of these two items. One will take 30 seconds, and the other will take you 10-20 minutes (but there’s an awesome prize that you currently have a pretty good chance of winning…).

1) We need your help in setting the direction for collegiate cycling moving forward. Please take a few minutes to fill out an end of year survey about your experiences as team leaders. As a thank you for filling out the survey completely (sorry, it’s not short), one lucky team leader will win a brand new Giro Aeon helmet (retail value $250). Before filling it out, though, please communicate with your fellow club officers, because we will only accept one response per team: extra responses will be discarded. The survey can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CollTLSurvey13 Please read the instructions and take your time.

2) With the end of the academic year, it’s time to update your club officers in the USA Cycling database. This must be done by next Tuesday, May 21. After that, we will be determining who is eligible to run for the soon-to-be-vacant club president position on the collegiate sport committee. This will also prevent you from receiving unnecessary emails from USA Cycling in the future and allow next year’s club officers to renew the club without trouble! Please take thirty seconds to update the club contacts NOW at https://www.usacycling.org/myusac/index.php?pagename=editclub

Thanks for taking the time to complete these two tasks. I know you put in a lot of work over the past academic year, and that effort is appreciated. Enjoy the summer, and we’ll see you out on the roads/trails/track.

* If you didn’t receive this email already it’s because you aren’t listed as an officer in our database (fix this by emailing me or having a previous club officer add you).

Best,

Jeffrey Hansen
