Hey Ben.
We've worked to secure some group rates for teams traveling in for our race weekend. Could you possibly forward this to everyone and make them aware of the deadline if they want the discount?
Also, if the officials want to book now as well that'd be great so that the club can save some money on those costs. We are hoping to push back the start time Saturday morning to allow y'all to travel in, but it's likely that you will have to stay Friday night
as well!

Ok! Got feedback from two places so far. It's a high price weekend for hotels (especially that Saturday) but these two places are trying to get us some good rates.
LaQuinta Inn across 35 from Baylor by Chick Fil A said:

Comfort Suites:
"As discussed, we will offer a group rate of $145 plus applicable taxes (regular rate right now is $163 avg). The group rate will be available until 2/4/22 (21 days before arrival). There is no commitment required to take a certain number of rooms. Guests can call the hotel directly at 254-537-0413 and ask for the Baylor Cycling group rate or can book online using the following link: https://www.choicehotels.com/reservations/groups/YR53N5"
LaQuinta is probably going to be a nicer/prettier stay since it's a new hotel and right by campus, but those folks need to reserve their room by this week!
Comfort Suites can be a great solution for those that don't know their plans yet. Its right off the circle.
