Just fixed a small mistake in the Flyer, there were conflicting times in the TT table. Racing will start at 10:00

It wouldn't be an msu race weekend without rain...

FYI, we are expecting rain tonight, and it could be heavy. However, the last two days of forecasted rain have been mostly dry. 

Heavy rains would likely force us to cancel the event to preserve the integrity of the trail. 

I would suggest checking in with me tomorrow before beginning your journey here to Wichita Falls.

Hey MTB folks, here's what I'm looking at as of right now: after being too slick and soft to ride yesterday, the MTB trail is now fine and the race is on. The sun is out at the moment drying up what remains of the rain from 2 days ago.

We have a forecast of rain overnight, but we've also had rain forecasted for each of the past several days without much actually falling. Yesterday, 20 miles south of here got 2" of rain, while we didn't have any measurable amount. We can handle a bit of rain overnight but not a downpour. 

The chance of rain is gone by the start of the TT, after which they're calling for sunnier skies. The TT course is also the most susceptible to flooding. So I would say the TT is the event most in danger of not happening at the moment, while I feel pretty confident the XC race can happen Sunday morning. The STXC race I'm thinking has like a 50/50 shot, maybe a little better.

We can play by ear and if needed flip the short track and tt. But let’s see what happens tonight. :)
