Jacqueline is correct. Only First floor units are allowed to install wood and tile floors. People who have installed have had to remove it. Don't waste your money on sound testing because it will not pass in these units.

Most units that tried to put hardwood floors on the second and third floor usually do not pass the sound test then they have to pull up the hardwood floors and place the carpet back on. Even though hardwood floors is allowed on the 1st floor, you still have to notify the HOA.
