actor who brings Tom Zarek to life, Richard Hatch, are on www.scifi.com
for a live Q&A on the Battlestar Galactica forum, scheduled for Friday,
January 5, at 8:30 p.m ET, 5:30 p.m. PT.
Dynamite will give away 10 autographed copies of Zarek #1 to
participants.
Tom Zarek: The Revolution Within #1 reveals content from Zarek's own
novel "The Revolution Within," which for the first time chronicles the
origin of Tom Zarek and the Sagittaron colony. The four-issue series
shows Tom's beginnings as he grows up in a loving home in a slave
state, and alongside a Cylon work force--all in the run-up to the First
Cylon War. It's through these humble--and tragic--beginnings that he
becomes the man we see in Battlestar Galactica today and this is where
you'll learn all about him!
Of course we're biased, but Tom Zarek: The Revolution Within is Jerwa's
most poignant and powerful work to date. It's illustrated by Adriano
Batista, and features stunning, cinematic covers by both Batista and
Stjepan Sejic, with a street date of Wednesday, December 28.
Brandon Jerwa is a Seattle-based comic writer. After breaking into the
industry and writing several years' worth of G.I. Joe books for Devil's
Due Publishing (G.I. Joe, Front Line, Master & Apprentice I & II,
Snake-Eyes: Declassified), Jerwa was recruited by Dynamite
Entertainment to co-write Highlander with Michael Avon Oeming.
