What to Watch: Sunday

- Chaps, today is Championship Sunday here at Homestead-Miami Speedway.  Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson and Joey Logano are going to be fighting hammer and tong for the Sprint Cup Series championship later today.  Coverage starts at 1:30 p.m. with NASCAR America Sunday on NBC.  The green is scheduled to fly around 3:19 p.m.

On Saturday, Daniel Suarez led 133 of the 200 laps, but had to make a move on Elliott Sadler on a late restart in order to take the lead.  From there, he pulled away to win the Ford EcoBoost 300 and the XFINITY Series championship in one fell swoop.  Read more

For Elliott Sadler, coming up short in the XFINITY Series title race really hurts.  He had the best season of his career and would have won handily without a Chase.  A gamble gave him a third-place finish, but he's only left with what could have been.  Read more

Martin Truex, Jr. Paces Final Cup Series Practice of Year at Homestead

On Saturday afternoon, Martin Truex, Jr. was fastest in Sprint Cup Happy Hour with a lap of 30.983 seconds (174.289 mph).  Truex was three-hundredths of a second faster than Carl Edwards, best of the Chasers.  Ryan Newman, AJ Allmendinger and Chase Elliott rounded out the top 5.  Read more

Jimmie Johnson Fastest in Homestead Cup Practice Round 2

In the morning practice session on Saturday, Jimmie Johnson turned in the fastest lap of the session (30.973 seconds, 174.345 mph) on his very first lap of the session.  Chase Elliott was second, followed by Carl Edwards, the best of the Chasers.  Read more
