Tonight is the night for the whole damn crew to gather again
It has been a super amazing, super awesome year for the Fringe
and still the very best of what we do is happening real soon.
The playa is near. The playa is near....
Let talk details...
Tonight - Wed July 18th: 8pm @ the Gold Cane (on Haight St.)
Our Agenda at will include:
buying each other alcoholic beverages
working with Red Nosers
Camping with clowns
humongous big top plans.
hanging our painters
making disturbing do-it-yourself arcade fun
Signage and posters with blinky lights
construction and scheduleing of audio mayhem
plans on getting loaded
and any other questions you may have about the freak show.
Yes it is on this year in a big way.
and on top of it and because of our success over the year
we are on track for a year of more playa, less work
we are going to be greener than we've ever been.
We are going to be bumping bigger and badder than even I thought we could.
Many of you know that the Fringe is not providing amenities for
campers this year... however,
this is because we have partnered up with the Red Nose District. They have
a better set up, an organized system and folks who know how to run a
better camp.
Hot water showers, Camp only portapotties!, a real dinner/food program
menus by real chefs and shit!), a trash system and super nice folks
who
volunteer to help out. (Make sure you thank them profusely on the playa.
Becuase we are not focuse on our camping situation The Fringe core
crew is spending all of our energy on the spectable we are about to
unleash. 3 circuses, top nacho bass dropping acts, performers flying
thu the air,, a dope placement (just off esplande) and big clear sound
that will rock the white off the playa.
We do hope you are available to join us this year. If not still come
down and get blotto with your Fringe peeps.
If you are bringing other folks (outside the Fringe) with you to the playa,
please pass this message on to them. We will probably only have one
more gathering (other than the Icey show) before we are on the playa.
