Jabba the Hutt big! Huge I tell you!
Currently on our drawing board is a
sonic & artistic undertaking of massive proportions.
and we need your support.
You can spend your summer weekends smashing your fingers with hammers to
convert a super sized bus into a playa Harem Lounge re-creation of the star wars
land barge used by Jabba the Hutt, install a big phat bumping sound system
on it, then rock the universe in your Princess Leia bikini at every port of call
with dust infested wookies, spaced out beings to sounds that make you
gyrate madly.
Proud to announce that is exactly what the creative minds of the
Fringe are doing.
We are looking for crew members with power tools, construction skills
or gold bikinis.

you can provide very much needed support by dancing your ass off
to support artistic endeavor in a bad economy with all your peeps to
some of the best DJs ever to rock a 10 hour happy hour to late night blowout!
This Friday is our kick-off fun-raiser to literally get our art
project rolling to it's
inaugural launch on the playa Burning Man 2009!

The Fringe Arts Collective is throwing down on June 19 with a 10-hour
dance-athon
featuring Washington DC breakbeat superstar Fort Knox 5. Joining the
afro-dellic
partystomper will be Djs from some of San Francisco’s most beloved dance crews
including Space Cowboys Mancub, Capt Kirk, and 8Ball, Opulent Temple’s
Syd Gris,
BLVD’s Dylan Cahill, Leon Cook (Hardscience), Greg Eversoul (Colorecordings),
Ground Control (EnVision) and the Fringe’s own MoPo, Big Dolla,
U9Lift, Mycho Cocoa,
Tim Dietz, and Victor Vega. The fun will begin during Happy Hour at
6pm and will
rock on into the early morning hours.
Proceeds go to support the Fringe's "Janky the Bus" project.
