Hello all,

We are rapidly approaching our 10th Annual Rocket City Short Film Festival.

Show date: October 17th, 2014

Where: Flying Monkey Arts Theater

           In the Historic Lowe Mill

If you have a recent film to enter, the entry form is attached and entries are due by October 1st.

We'll have a jury review the films to determine the Best of Show and 2nd and 3rd place winners

We'll also have our "Audience Awards" based on audience applause during the festival.

The Alabama Filmmaker's Co-op was founded in 1977 to encourage filmmaking and film education.

Thanks to your support, we continue that mission 37 years later with on-going workshops, the Annual Black Maria Film Festival in the spring, the Rocket City Short Film Festival in October and as a local producing partner for screening films from the Independent Lens documentary series "Community Cinema".  We maintain a group page on FaceBook under our organizational name.
