Hello Film Co-op members, friends and monthly workshop participants
I hope you all had a great holiday season and are enjoying this snowy weather. This is a somewhat tardy reminder that this weekend the Film Co-op will be presenting two workshops.
On Saturday, I'll be presented a seminar on how to edit with Apple's iMovie 09 application. Part of this seminar will be a discussion of basic editing guidelines that every filmmaker or videographer can use to improve the editing of your projects. Part of this seminar will be a presentation of how to use Apple's iMovie 09 application. Even if you don't have or intend to buy a MAC computer, you'll still learn something valuable at this workshop. The workshop will be from 1 to 4 pm on Saturday at the Mac Resource Training Center (at the Mac Resource computer store on University just a quarter mile west of the Target shopping complex). All are welcome. There is no chrage for this workshop - it's sponsored by the Film Co-op and Mac Resource. You can learn more about it or sign up (pre-registration is not required, just show up by 1pm) on Apple's web page at
This Sunday at 2pm we'll have our monthly filmmaking workshop in my studio at the Flying Monkey Arts Center. The workshop is free and open to all. We'll have general discussions about filmmaking, plan for some upcoming workshops and if we have time I'd like to spend some time discussing story structure, genre and plot in preparation for my upcoming screenwriting workshop.
So mark your calendars,
Saturday at 1pm at Mac Resource, learn about editing
Sunday at 2pm, monthly filmmaking workshop
See you there
