Discount to the members of the Alabama Filmmakers Co-op for an event this weekend at Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center.

 

We’ve got author/screenwriter Jerry Stahl coming to give a lecture/book signing on Friday night and teach a screenwriting workshop on Saturday.  If your members would like to come, they can use promo code BOOKMARK when purchasing their tickets to get a $5 discount to the Friday night event (regular price $25).

 

Jerry has penned the memoir Permanent Midnight, the true story of his life as a screenwriter in Hollywood working on shows like “Alf,” and “Twin Peaks,” all while battling severe drug addictions.  He’s got another new novel out called Pain Killers, released this summer.
