Save the date for Monday January 30, 2012, and join us for a special evening with Liz Lerman, Founding Artistic Director of Dance Exchange and author of Hiking the Horizontal: Field Notes from a Choreographer. She will speak with us about her book, her career, and the artist’s role in community engagement. We hope you will join us for this dialogue and first official DC Emerging Arts Leaders book club. Interested in seeing your event promoted in our newsletter? Email us with your event name, a 50 word description and a link for more information. Please write "EALDC Promotion" in the subject line. Events must be appropriate for young arts professionals and take place in the greater DC area. Information must be received no later than the 25th of the previous month for listing in the upcoming month's newsletter. Final listing is at the discretion of Emerging Arts Leaders DC.
