NEWS

Rebranding

In March 2010, the Forum for Emerging Arts Professionals changed its name to Emerging Arts Leaders DC. This aligns us with the national Emerging Leaders network and allows us to be more immediately accessible to newcomers to the group. You'll notice that we've also adopted a new logo to go along with this name change. We'll be using both names and logos over the next few months as we make this transition, but please don't be confused - we are still the same group!

OTHER EVENTS (non-EALDC events of interest)

20UNDER40 Happy Hour

Friday, June 4, 8:00 pm

Garrett's Tavern, 3003 M St NW

20UNDER40 endeavors to collect twenty essays about the future of the arts and arts education, each written by an emerging leader under the age of forty. In doing so, this anthology will provide a unique arena for new ideas by formally gathering the thoughts of young artists, teaching artists, administrators, researchers, and other arts and arts education professionals—legitimizing the talent of young leaders by bringing their ideas out of the margins and into the forefront of our dialogue. Come hang out with the 20UNDER40 crew and other D.C. area young arts leaders.
