Cultural Tourism DC, the nonprofit arts and heritage membership organization, extends a special invitation to members of Emerging Arts Leaders DC to its Inaugural Conference: Arts, Culture, and Tourism: Strategies for Success on January 26, 12:00–5:30 p.m. This convening of the arts, cultural, and tourism communities of Washington, DC features guest speakers, networking opportunities, and a keynote address, Reaching Beyond Museum Walls: Strategies for Attracting New Audiences to DC’s Art and Cultural Institutions, presented by Dr. Johnnetta Betsch Cole, Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art. Following the conference, attendees are also invited to attend Cultural Tourism DC’s annual membership meeting and networking reception. EALDC Policies

Interested in seeing your event promoted in our newsletter? Email us with your event name, a 50 word description and a link for more information. Please write "EALDC Promotion" in the subject line. Events must be appropriate for young arts professionals and take place in the greater DC area. Information must be received no later than the 25th of the previous month for listing in the upcoming month's newsletter. Final listing is at the discretion of Emerging Arts Leaders DC.
