ATLANTA, GA- Following the successful run of the 15th Annual North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, DSI and Alchemy Comedy Theaters are sending out the CFC 2015 winners and finalists on a summer tour. Chad Cosby (Carrboro, N.C.), Leo Hodson (Greensboro, N.C.), and Mike Brocki (Charleston, SC) will be appearing at The Basement Theater on
Wednesday, July 22nd at 8 p.m.

Chad Cosby is a comedian based in Carrboro, North Carolina. He won the 2015 Carolina's Funniest Comic Contest. Before moving to North Carolina, he performed in theaters, clubs, and barns throughout the great state of Vermont.
Leo Hodson is a fixture on the North Carolina comedy scene. He has had the opportunity to open for nationally touring acts to include Eddie Brill, Sean Patton, and Myq Kaplan. Leo was the winner of the 2015 Make Me Laugh-Denver Festival Competition.
Mike Brocki, an Air Force veteran, is a vital member of the Charleston, SC comedy scene. You can catch Mike doing his comedy all around Charleston, including Theater 99.
The Basement Theater management expressed "The Basement is excited to host CFC 2015 Tour Atlanta stop! For years we've shared a close connection to the North & South Carolina Comedy communities and we love to spread that southern hospitality, charm and wit around!"
The Carolinas Funniest Comic competition began in January and ran through February where it merged with the North Carolina Comedy Arts festival for the semifinal and final rounds. Carolina’s Funniest Comic featured 50 comedians from North Carolina and 36 comedians from Greenville, South Carolina’s Alchemy Theater.
"Carolina's Funniest Comic has been running for over 8 years, in conjunction with South Carolina's Alchemy Comedy Theater for the last two," explains DSI Comedy Executive Producer Zach Ward. "The talent level keeps increasing, and the competition has become intense -- Now the winners really are the best of the best. I am proud to produce this tour and see the 2015 winners on the road and some of the best comedy theaters in the Southeast."
Carolinas Funniest Comic summer tour will be making stops in Greenville, South Carolina, Richmond, Virginia, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
