How To Use This Forum

I am not sure that you are all aware that you DO NOT have to have your
e-mail addy visible or not. Well, you DO NOT! If you go into to edit
your personal options you can assign yourself a "Nickname", this
nickname will become visible and your e-mail addy will become
"invisible".
Also, if you do not want your e-mail addy seen then DO NOT respond to a
post via your e-mail, ONLY respond via the forum once that you have
made a nickname, and this also is a way for your e-mail addy NOT to be
visible.

Again, you can control this! In your personal options you can choose to
have notices from here show up as they occur, once daily or NOT AT ALL!
You choose! If you are not certain as to how to do that, then I can do
that for you, just let me know.
Also, if you have little yellow envelopes appear by the different
threads, then this means your options are set to watch those threads
and to receive "Notices" on them when a new post has been made. To
CANCEL that option, simply "Click" on the little yellow envelope and it
will disappear, and so will all the mail you get in your personal
e-mail box!! :D
I will post more about how to use this forum as I myself learn how to
use it. Afterall, Ladies, it is only day one!

That is where you choose how you want to receive notices from this
forum.
You will also see this:

That is where you enter your user ID or Nickname. Once you enter a
nickname your e-mail addy will become invisible and only your
Nickname/User ID will now be visible on your post.

in a name also & email still shows. It doesn't work, I think I'd have
to start a new account to change it. There was no option to hide your
email addy.

I know, nothing like trying to learn a new site, especially when you
are not completely computer savvy (ME!). ;P
Now, though, I must say, if someone clicks on your profile button then
your email addy will be visible to them but NOT completely, part of it
has been removed by the site. I do not think that there is a way to
completely "Hide" your e-mail addys. :(
