Hello friends and fans! This is the inaugural Prophetic-Edge email! Thanks for signing up! As a Spring Tour and new CD become a reality it will be great to have this tool for sharing information about the music I'm currently working on. These e-mails will be part concert schedule, part theological reflection, and part song workshop, so don't let them just sit in your in-box! I'm happy to hear from you and talk more with you about these songs that I write and perform. Thanks again and enjoy! 1) oft broke echo, RELEASED March 17th! After many years of writing, recording, and collecting songs since 2001's Tales Scratched Out, CTG returns to the scene with a brand new album thematically based on the question of prayer that seems unanswered. Among songs about violence toward women, policies of destruction around the workd, and personal guilt CTG places songs of hope and encouragement - written for friends, weddings, and even for the city of Detroit. 2) Spring 2006 Tour : March 17 - 31 I'll be performing house concerts throughout the Midwest and East coast and will have copies of the brand new cd as well as copies of the earlier cd Tales Scratched Out. Tour starts tomorrow Friday, 3/17, and runs through Friday, 3/31! Check the web site for details and how to connect with one of these shows. 3) Song e-workshop >From time to time you'll receive a brand new song text and/or mp3 that you are invited to read/listen and respond to. You'll be an instant musical collaborator just by responding with your thoughts! Today is a new set of lyrics in support of The Penny Project. Let me know what you think: Thanks and peace, CTG Thanks so much for signing up for this email and remember that if at anytime you'd like to take your name off the list, simply visit our google.groups page to unsubscribe. |
