April 5, 2006 Albion - had a wicked cool time playing at the MCH  (pronounced liked techno music) last Friday.  Denise, Anna, Adam are all members of the band now and a great big pat on the back to the guys who ate 6 pounds of ham right before the show.  I couldn't have done it even if I wasn't a vegetarian.  I was also glad that Anna and Denise made me remember the Sparrow Song from Tales Scratched Out, I forget how much I like that one.  I guess playing at your alma mater pretty much ensures having a good time, but it was also great heading down to play some tunes for the FCS folks at University of Indianapolis.  The Prof that was there to speak even sat in on drums for a few numbers.  Who knew you could be a Wesley theologian AND Carter Beauford at the same time.  So, while the rest of the city and nation were all watching some basketball games or something, we were rockin the chapel at UINDY. All in all it was a great tour.  You can visit the web site (click) for a sideshow of all the places I visited.  I'll be working on getting lyrics and thoughts on each of the songs on my cds up soon.  Also look for the re-release of a STILL LISTENING album coming up.  This disc Long Road to Go captures the most mature sounds of SL before the dramatic break up.  Rehab and the reunion tour are coming up shortly if we follow the VH1 "Behind the Music" scenario...which we don't really.  But watch for it and enjoy.
