The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that you get an annual flu shot if you are in close contact with people at high risk of complications from the flu. So if you are a caregiver for an older or disabled person, this means you!
The American Lung Association hosts a website that can connect you with a flu clinic near you. Just visit www.flucliniclocator.org and enter your zip code.
(And maybe you’ll get lucky like I did and get a nurse who uses Daffy Duck Band-Aids!)
Linking you with helpful caregiving resources
and wishing you a wonderful week.
