Do you ever experience flashes of anger that lead you to do something you regret later? I’ll bet that each of us has felt “pushed to the edge” at one time or other. As caregivers we are at risk of increasing anger and resentment when our caregiving responsibilities grow.
To help us cope, the Duke Family Support Program has developed “Wait a Minute! When Anger Gets Too Much” a tip sheet developed for NC Project C.A.R.E. (Caregiver Alternatives to Running On Empty).
You can download a pdf file of these tips at http://www.geri.duke.edu/service/angertips.pdf. … And breathe deeply when you click on this link – depending on the speed of your Internet connection, it may take a minute or two to load!
Linking you with helpful caregiving resources
and wishing you a wonderful week.
