I was introduced to CaringBridge a few months ago and it made a lasting impact on me. A friend invited us to visit her mom’s Web site there to read messages from her and to leave notes in her on-line guestbook. Her mom, Marilyn, is fighting cancer. Her family is using this site to keep friends and family informed of her progress and as an easy way for us to send messages of encouragement. I left Marilyn a note and read about all of the wonderful support she is receiving. What struck me the most was how much the messages left for Marilyn are a tribute to her; a record of the many ways she has impacted others’ lives ….What a meaningful gift to all of us – Marilyn, her family and friends.
