If you are a family member of someone with a memory disorder such as Alzheimer’s disease, or a professional working with these families, there is a conference on April 27-28 that you need to attend.
The Twentieth Annual Joseph and Kathleen Bryan Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center Conference entitled “Twenty Years: Creative New Directions in Research and Care” is a unique gathering of researchers, clinicians, people with memory disorders and family members sharing best practices in care and news of future research and treatment. The cost of attending is kept low by grant funds and the Center’s subsidy, and you can save even more by registering by March 15th.
For a conference brochure and registration form see www.geri.duke.edu/service/dfsp/Alzheimers2006.pdf.
In the spirit of full disclosure, I want to let you know that I am the Conference Coordinator for this program – but that’s not the only reason it will be a fabulous event! ; -) Hope to see you there!
