No - it can't be! - can summer really be over so soon!! It seems to be coming earlier than usual even for up here in Maine. : - (

Greeting to everyone!
I have been working on the large forest scene that I posted on my last newsletter and the progress so far is posted below. I feel it is not quite finished, perhaps a few more glazes are in order. Also I am posting a completed painting of the late afternoon sun striking a house and barn. The farm is one that we pass on the way to church each week and at certain times of day, it is just so picturesque. At this particular time as we were driving by, I screamed "STOP!!!!" - and fortunately my very patient husband stopped and allowed me to take photos of the fleeting light.
