I hope everyone had a spectacular and safe holiday weekend. The weather up here in Maine was just wonderful - sunny with the temps in the 70's. It felt really good after the hot summer we have had.
My latest painting that I just completed is a break from the landscapes - back to my first love of figure painting. I used one of my old reference photos of my favorite model while I lived in Memphis. Sure do miss her - the model not Memphis. I have painted this position before, in fact you probably recognize it from my website - but my son has been wanting me to paint more in black and white - so I thought it would be fun to try it again that way. I used black, white and naple yellow.
But perhaps you can suggest a title for the painting? Titles are sooooooo hard - in fact many artists consider it one of the hardest things to do.
